Among the 400-plus battery pack manufacturers in the world SOLE ENERGY TECH Co., Ltd. is one of the very few that have the ability to design and produce battery pack for notebook computers. It was also the first in Taiwan to become an OEM battery pack manufacturer for a Japanese notebook brand.

SOLE ENERGY TECH Co., Ltd. was formerly the Battery Pack Module Department of SOLOMON TECH Co., Ltd. Since 1988 when it became a distributor of Toshiba battery it has received technical support from Toshiba on the design of battery and battery pack. It also engaged in technical exchanges with E-ONE MOLI ENERGY Co., Ltd. And SANYO on the design and manufacturing of battery pack. R&D and technical employees account for as high as 30% of it's entire staff (beeline personnel not included). It, as a result, has become the first non-Japanese battery pack manufacturer with the capability to design and produce Li-polymer battery pack for notebooks. Its vast clientele includes leading domestic and international brands and OEM notebook manufacturers such as Apple, SANYO, Samsung, Quanta Computer Inc and Wistron.
